Dance Films

This film was screened at a film festival by Disco Riot called "A Year of DisDANCE." Dancers were given an opportunity to produce dance films that reflected their experience in the first year of the 2020 pandemic and I was honored to produce this film with Alyssa Ajay Junious. 

This film was screened at the Dance Camera West film festival and another film produced with Alyssa Ajay Junious. Ase / Ibalik is an afro-futuristic dance film that explores the intersection of spirituality, activism and taps into the spiritual power of dance.

My dance film debut! Alyssa Ajay Junious and I entered the CO:VID 48-hour dance film challenge in 2020 hosted by Gotham Dance Theater. The rules? 1 dancer + 1 producer, no in-person collaboration. I storyboarded, Ajay filmed on her iPhone, and I edited. We won 2nd runner-up!
